In this chapter, we can learn different solutions of warehouse management, since R/2, SAP has provided eight different solutions to manage and trace the inventory. These include simple solutions like managing the entire inventory in one storage location without bin visibility (IM managed stock); or complex solutions like EWM, where every movement of the stock—for example, unloading, staging, deconsolidating, packing, picking, and so on—is documented and recorded in the system.
